ROTARY BUFFER
A rotary polisher is a machine used to polish cars. It works amazingly fast and also requires its users to have a bit of knowledge and experience. It is most used by highly qualified and trained technicians.
This polisher has a high cutting speed which makes it a great option. Whereas a dual polisher takes more time to get the job done. Rotary polisher is a good choice when it comes to a high damaged surface to work on. Rotary Polishers will remove marks in paintwork that dual action polishers cannot.
Rotary polishers due have some disadvantaged like it will polish away the paint if proper care is not taken, it has no free rotation movement so this makes it impossible to stop it from moving.
Dual action polisher
A dual action polisher is another machine used to polish cars; it is a type of polisher that spins on an elliptical orbit which leads to heat distribution to a larger area making it safe for use. Spinning the polisher on a single spot will not burn your paint.
This polisher does not need any manual work to be done as it does all the work with the elliptical spinning. It also has slow RPM which lets it take more time to cut through scratches. Although it takes more time, the results obtained are usually great. This polisher is extremely easy and safer to use, it also stops rotating to avoid burning the paint if pressed hardly against the surface.
Which one to choose?
Choose a Dual Action Polisher if:
- You want to take a few swirls and light scratches out of your paintwork.
- Use it regularly to maintain your paintwork.
- You are an amateur, it is very east to use and keeps the paint from burning.
- You do not want to worry about burning through paint or adding holograms to it.
Choose a Rotary Polisher if:
- You have serious paintwork blemishes you really want to remove.
- You have some time to get to grips with the way the machine works.
- You are experienced with using polishers.
